Results from Warwickshire County Council and Rugby Borough Council By Elections
Thanks to everyone that voted Green yesterday. The Tories clearly benefited from UKIP collapse on a low turnout. The underlying issues of NHS cuts, austerity, poverty pay, the housing crisis and other material conditions have not gone away as will be apparent as the General Election gets under way. The Tories also will face many questions about HARD BREXIT and its impact on workers and community rights.
Nationally the Green Party in Warwickshire kept our two Green County Councillors and made some good gains across the country. We now have more Councillors then UKIP.
